About
Concrete is permanent.
So is our standard.
Highlands Concrete Constructions Pty Ltd has been a specialist concreting contractor since 2009, delivering superflat floors, structural, civil and architectural concrete across NSW. We are a family owned and operated business, run by people with skin in the game.
Builders and developers bring us the work that can't go wrong: tight tolerances, exposed finishes, difficult access, unforgiving programmes. We've built our reputation pour by pour, and we put it on the line with every slab.
Run from the slab,
not the office.
Highlands is led hands-on. Peter runs operations and the day-to-day on site, while Daniel runs the commercial side of the business. The people who price your job are the same people standing on the pour, and what we promise at tender is what turns up on site.
Services
Superflat & Laser-Screed Floors
FM and CSA class tolerance floors placed by our own laser screeds. Warehouse racking, cold storage, VNA aisles and specialist surfaces, including competition ice rinks, where flatness is the specification.
Structural Concrete
Suspended slabs, columns, cores and footings. Commercial, industrial and high-end residential structures built straight, level and on programme.
Concrete Pumping
Boom and line pumping. Difficult access, live sites and simultaneous multi-pump pours handled by experienced operators.
Civil & External Works
Driveways, kerbing, retaining walls, hardstands and drainage infrastructure. Heavy-duty pavements built for decades of load.
Architectural Finishes
Off-form, polished, exposed-aggregate and burnished finishes. Where concrete stops being a material and becomes the design.
Formwork & Steel Fixing
Complete structural packages delivered with formwork and steel fixing crews. Conventional, jump and table-form systems built with millimetre tolerances.
Projects
Competition Ice Rinks & Sports Facilities
A competition ice surface begins with one of the flattest concrete floors in construction. We delivered this 1800 m² slab in one shot: a single continuous pour finished in 20 hours, placed with dual Somero S485 laser screeds run without augers as the specification required, and finished by a fleet of Allen MSP475 trowels.

Large Industrial Warehouses
Full warehouse floor plates delivered wall to wall: placed, laser-screeded and burnished to a hard, reflective finish, ready for racking and hard-running traffic.

Data Centres
Structural concrete for a data centre: columns and heavily propped suspended decks, poured by boom pump and finished to the tolerances mission-critical floors demand.

Commercial Coolrooms
Coolroom and cold-store slabs placed and burnished inside the insulated envelope, finished dense and flat around penetrations, columns and panel walls.

Patterned External Finishes
External pavements finished in the snake pattern: sweeping hand-worked arcs that give large external slabs a slip-resistant surface with a signature look.

Education Precincts
Twin boom pumps running simultaneous deck pours across a school campus. Pump, place and finish of all concrete elements, delivered around term-time constraints.

Mining Projects
Concrete placement for remote mine sites: off-road agitators feeding a placing boom, with crews placing, screeding and finishing large-format slabs behind it.

Residential Apartments
Concrete structure for a multi-storey residential development: columns, cores and suspended decks placed and finished floor by floor as the building climbs.

Industrial Estates
Large-format warehouse floor slabs placed and levelled by laser screed. Flat, joint-minimised floors built for racking and forklift traffic from day one.

Multi-Level Carparks
Multi-level carpark structures from the ground up: columns, suspended trafficable decks, and the continuous curved ramp and edge walls that define them, poured off-form and repeated cleanly level over level. Work like this lives on cycle time, so form, pour and finish are sequenced to land each deck on programme.
Plant & Fleet
Our own machines.
Our own standard.
Flatness, finish and programme stay in our hands because the plant is ours: Allen ride-on power trowels, concrete boom pumping, and Somero laser screeds guided by 3D profiling.
